Matthew Sigelman Chief Executive Officer
Matt Sigelman is CEO of Burning Glass Technologies, a leading labour market analytics firm. For more than a decade, he has led Burning Glass in harnessing the power of data and artificial intelligence technologies that have cracked the genetic code of the job market. Powered by the world’s largest and most sophisticated database of jobs and talent, Burning Glass delivers real-time data and breakthrough planning tools that inform careers, define academic programs, and shape workforces.
Burning Glass has helped to fill millions of jobs and its data drive initiatives for more than a dozen state and national governments. Matt is consulted frequently by national media, by researchers, and industry leaders. He served previously with McKinsey & Company and Capital One. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard.
Joshua Ticktin Chief Operating Officer
Joshua Ticktin is Burning Glass’s Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at M4 Financial, a developer of financial analytics technologies for real-time, automated business creditworthiness evaluation. While with M4 Financial, he led the design and implementation of the company’s processing operation as well as key product development and infrastructure functions.
Earlier, Josh created the marketing, credit, and operations blueprints for Capital One’s foray into a $70 Billion consumer finance business. He has also served as an equity analyst with Bulldog Capital Management, and as a consultant with Monitor Company. Josh holds a BA with honours in History from Princeton University.
After many years of experience as a manager of international computer companies, in the last few years he has devoted himself to training and teaching at universities. His research and training topics are mainly Management and Business Strategies, Digital innovation, Business Analytics.
He is currently a member of the Board and Managing Director of Tabulaex, a spin-off company of the University of Milan Bicocca, recently acquired by Burning Glass Technologies. Alberto is also regularly involved in voluntary activities in the field of education and culture.
